As we enter the head of the year, let us consider a season of fasting. In Isaiah 58, God is calling us to a different kind of fast. We are called to loose the chains of injustice, untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free, and to break every yoke. Please watch today’s video and let the Word of the Lord speak to you and wash over your hearts.

Canopy of Prayer School
Join us for Canopy of Prayer School beginning on Thursday, Sept 28 at 1pm Eastern. In this 10 week study on Zoom, we will take an in-depth look at Jesus' final prayer, before the cross, found in John 17.
Whether you are able to attend each Thursday or not, you can receive the recorded video to watch at your convenience. Sign up for the videos today! Week one video will be sent out on Oct 2nd.

Prayer Points
Pray for the body of Christ that God would give them solutions regarding the pandemic of homelessness. God has the solutions. We just need to tap into his wisdom in prayer. Pray that we will be known as those who can fix anything. We will restore old ruins, rebuild and renovate, and make communities livable again.
Pray that the body of Christ would see, then act, as the hands and feet of Jesus spending themselves on the oppressed, the hungry, and those in captivity to drugs and addictions. Pray that we would be a people who would unbind the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free. Pray for hearts of compassion that would compel us to share our food with the hungry, provide shelter to the poor and clothing for the naked.
Pray for our government leaders that they would develop policies to correct inflation, the high cost of living and the housing crisis. They need wisdom from heaven. Pray that God would impart His wisdom and revelation to them. Pray that they would be surrounded by people and advisors who will provide sound and godly counsel. Pray for pure hearts and motives so the decisions they make would be based on what is best for their community rather than for selfish gain or political ambition.
