We’re back!! It’s so good to be back home after a wonderful time of relaxing and refreshing. And, as if right on cue, we have a renewed call to prayer for our government, as the Prime Minister has just re-shuffled the deck of the cabinet. This is a great opportunity to re-focus our prayer efforts and lift them all up to the Lord.
*Reminder…We will be starting our Zoom prayer calls again starting this Tuesday at 10 am EST. Be sure to join us as we pray for our nation!

Prayer Points
As you would have already heard, Prime Minister Trudeau revamped his cabinet. He promoted 7 back benchers, discarded 7 ministers and shuffled most of the other cabinet posts.
James 3:13-18 discusses 2 kinds of Wisdom. One is earthly and the other is from Heaven. According to James, earthly wisdom harbors bitter envy and selfish ambition. It boasts and denies the truth. It is vile and disorderly. Earthly wisdom breeds chaos.
“But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.”
James 3:17-18
Pray for this new cabinet that the Father of glory, would give them the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him. Pray that they would come to know Him as their source for wisdom.
At the National Prayer Breakfast in May, Prime Minister Trudeau read Matthew 7:24-27. The passage says that a wise man is one who hears Jesus’ teachings and applies it to his life. He is compared to one who built his house on an unshakable foundation.
Pray for our Prime Minister and his cabinet that they would be able to hear the wisdom of biblical teachings and apply it not only to their lives but also to the way they make decisions regarding our nation.
