Please continue to pray for the wild fires especially in B.C. and Northwest Territories.
There has been some good news from Kelowna. Fire officials say that they have, “turned a corner” after days of destruction and that, “things are finally looking better.” Praise God!
Pray for the first responders, that they would be protected and that their strength would be restored with all the resources they need. There are still so many serious active fires.
Pray for the evacuees that they would be able to return home safely and as soon as possible.
Pray for rain, rain, rain.
Pray for believers and churches in Pakistan, after the recent violence there.
Pray for Christians living in the area for their safety and well-being. Pray for God's protection.
Pray for those who instigated and committed these acts of violence that they would receive the revelation of His love and mercy and come to the knowledge of the truth.
"You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy. ' But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven."
Matthew 5:43-45
There have been many reports of Muslim leaders protecting Christians and offering food and shelter including 300 young Muslim men who surrounded and protected a village and its churches from a mob of angry rioters. A well-known Muslim cleric publicly apologized for the violence and the shameful actions that had occurred. Thank God for these Muslim leaders who have offered apology and protection to victims. Pray that through this relationship, these believers would be able to share the truth of Jesus and it would be received. Pray for soft hearts.
Pray for pastors and our local churches as they gear up for September and a new season of ministry
Pray for deepening intimacy with the Father and that they would receive a full revelation of the hope of their calling.
Pray that prayer would be the driving force of all they do.
