Sometimes we go through seasons when hope feels delayed and the heart grows weary. True perseverance comes from trusting in God’s promises, knowing He is faithful and will fulfill His Word in His perfect timing. Those who endure do not anchor their hope in the things of this world, but look beyond the present, keeping their hearts set on the heavenly home Christ has prepared.
The heroes of faith modeled this steadfastness. Though they did not see the full fulfillment of God’s promises in their lifetime, they remained faithful, walking in obedience and finishing well. Believers are called to serve God faithfully, always praying and never losing heart, trusting that even when results are unseen, He will bring His purposes to completion.
"Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices! Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath! Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil. For the evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for the Lord shall inherit the land."
Psalm 37:7-9

Weekly Prayer Points
Pray that the church will measure success by God’s standards, not by the values or achievements of this world.
Pray for endurance in seasons of delayed hope - that we will remain steadfast and not grow weary when God’s promises seem slow to manifest.
Pray for faith anchored in God’s Word - that Christians will trust in His faithfulness, knowing He will fulfill His purposes in His perfect timing.
Pray for a heavenly perspective - that those that are His will keep their hearts and minds set on the eternal home Jesus has prepared, not on the temporary circumstances of this world.
“If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.”
Colossians 3:1–2
