We recently experienced an incredible time of ministry in Red Deer, Alberta, where we saw bold humility in action; a theme first given to us about a year ago during a National House of Prayer national prayer meeting. Bold humility may sound like an oxymoron, but in the Spirit, it calls us to live with courage and meekness intertwined. Much of the success we saw was rooted in perseverance in building friendships, work that began in Red Deer 18 years ago and continues to lay the foundation for trust and meaningful dialogue.
The message from this experience is clear: it’s time to cast our nets. Rather than complain or be offended by the influx of immigrants and refugees, we are called to see it as an opportunity to preach the Gospel, build friendships, and bring hope to the nations, a living demonstration of bold humility in action.
"How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"

Weekly Prayer Points
Pray for the Church in Canada to embody bold humility, living with courage and meekness intertwined, and persevering in building lasting friendships across communities.
Pray for continued trust and meaningful relationships to grow between Canadians and newcomers, immigrants, and refugees, that the Gospel may be shared naturally through friendship.
Pray for courage to reach out to those with different beliefs, knowing that every dialogue begins with genuine friendship and opens the door to spiritual conversation.
Pray for God’s guidance to recognize opportunities rather than complain about the arrival of newcomers, and to boldly share the hope of Jesus with all nations in Canada.
Pray for the Church to be a living demonstration of God’s love and healing, fulfilling the prophetic calling over Canada to be leaves of healing to the nations.
“And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.”
