We celebrate the 20 live hostages who are now back at home. At the same time, we remember the eight Canadians who were killed on October 7 and continue to pray for their families. We also pray for Gaza, that its people might find peace and hope amidst the challenges they face.
We cannot stop praying for Israel. As the watchmen described in Isaiah 62, we continue to intercede for the apple of His eye.
We must continue to build meaningful relationships with the Jewish community in Canada. While a peace agreement may exist in the Middle East, antisemitism remains prevalent in Canada. It is the heart of God that we offer solidarity and friendship to Jewish people so they know they are not alone.
"I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth."

Weekly Prayer Points
Pray for the 20 hostages who have returned home, that God would restore their souls, bringing full healing, peace, and renewed strength.
Pray for the families of the eight Canadians killed on October 7, asking God to comfort them, give them strength, and surround them with His presence.
Pray for the people of Gaza, that the Prince of Peace would come in power to transform sorrow into joy, despair into hope, and turmoil into His perfect peace.
Pray for the Jewish community in Canada, that vigilance, prayer, and support will protect them from harm and help them feel supported and valued.
Pray for the Church to rise as faithful watchmen as described in Isaiah 62, interceding day and night and standing in prayer until God’s purposes are fulfilled.
Pray for meaningful relationships to be built between the church and Jewish communities, grounded in trust, respect, and solidarity, reflecting God’s heart.
"May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ."
