The Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast Canada will take place in Ottawa on March 24 and 25. This will be the first gathering of its kind in our nation.
Members of Parliament, Knesset representatives, ambassadors, rabbis, and pastors will come together with one purpose: to pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6).
In recent years, the political relationship between Canada and Israel has felt strained. Yet beyond politics, the friendship between our peoples has deep roots. This gathering is an opportunity to bring that relationship before God in prayer and to seek His peace over Jerusalem and Israel.
This moment also carries particular weight as the war involving the Iranian regime, Israel and the US continues. It is a critical time for believers to stand in prayer for Israel, for wisdom among leaders, and for God’s purposes to prevail in the midst of conflict. At the same time, we are seeing a troubling rise in antisemitism here in Canada, making it all the more important for people of faith to stand in prayer and solidarity.
We are reminded of Job 42:10, where Job prayed for his friends and the Lord restored him double. Our desire is not for gain, but for restoration, believing that God is able to renew and strengthen relationships between nations as His people stand in prayer.
This gathering is not centred on politics but on His Kingdom. We believe Canada has a calling to be a source of healing among the nations, and part of that calling includes standing in prayer for Israel and for the peace of Jerusalem. As Canada seeks the Lord in this area, we also pray for wisdom and grace in our relationships with our closest neighbour, the United States.
For that reason, this will not be a typical prayer breakfast. The focus will be deliberate and serious intercession for Canada, Israel, and the wider relationships between nations, seeking God’s wisdom, mercy, and guidance.

Weekly Prayer Points
Pray for the Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast in Ottawa. Pray that many leaders, pastors, and believers would attend, and that the gathering would be marked by deep intercession, unity, and God’s presence.
Pray for spiritual impact across our nation. Pray that as we stand together for Israel and the peace of Jerusalem, we would see marked spiritual changes, revival, and a greater alignment with His purposes in Canada.
Pray for God’s purposes to prevail in the conflict involving the Iranian regime. Pray that God would restrain evil, bring justice, and turn events toward His righteous purposes for the Iranian people.
Pray against the rise of antisemitism in Canada. Pray that the hatred would be exposed for the evil it is. Pray that God would raise up leaders and communities who will stand firmly against antisemitism because it is the right thing to do.
Pray for Canada’s calling among the nations that we would be a source of healing, truth, and righteousness.
Pray for the relationship between Canada and Israel. Pray for strengthened friendship between the two nations and to give Canadian leaders wisdom and courage in their decisions regarding Israel.
