This week provided meaningful opportunities to stand with Israel and strengthen relationships with the Jewish community. It was exciting to join more than 60,000 people at the United Jewish Appeal Walk for Israel. Our Israel Conference with respected Jewish and Christian leaders, was both inspiring and encouraging.
One of the discussions touched on recent comments by Mark Carney describing Canada as a secular society. Many Canadians would argue this overlooks the significant role Judeo-Christian values have played in shaping our nation’s history and institutions. When God is removed from the foundation, Western values inevitably erode, as the moral framework that once grounded law, culture, and public life is gradually weakened.
Scripture calls us to pray for those in authority. So let’s pray for Prime Minister Carney and all Canadian leaders, asking God to give them the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, that the eyes of their hearts would be enlightened and aligned with His purposes for our nation.
As we pray for spiritual awakening and godly leadership across Canada, we are also called to be living epistles, known and read by all, so that our lives clearly reflect Christ in every sphere of influence. May we boldly live out our faith, let our light shine, and faithfully share the hope of the Gospel wherever God has placed us.

Weekly Prayer Points
Pray for Prime Minister Carney and all Canadian leaders, that God would grant them the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, and that the eyes of their hearts would be enlightened to discern truth and lead with righteousness.
Pray that the glory of God will cover Canada as the waters cover the sea. Pray for fresh spiritual awakening and a turning toward God, with His truth shaping families, institutions, and public life.
Pray for believers across the country, that we would live as knowing we are epistles. Pray that we would live lives that reflect Jesus in our words and actions, so that others may clearly see Him in us.
Pray for unity and strength within the Christian community, that the church would be bold, prayerful, and steadfast in proclaiming the Gospel with both courage and love.
Pray for Israel and the Jewish community, that God would bring peace, protection, and blessing, and that relationships between Christians and Jews would be strengthened in understanding and respect.
