Saturday, January 31, 2026

As we enter the first weeks of 2026, the world has been a whirlwind, from tensions with Venezuela, Greenland, and China to economic uncertainty, but there’s reason to celebrate. The court ruled the government overstepped with the Emergencies Act, and Bill C-9 has been postponed, showing that prayer, engagement and advocacy make a difference.

Psalm 29 reminds us to fix our eyes on the Lord, ascribe Him glory, and listen for His powerful, majestic voice over chaos. Even when the world shakes, God is sovereign, guiding and protecting us. Focusing on worship, thanksgiving, and His guidance allows us to navigate uncertainty with faith and hope. The year may bring challenges, but keeping our eyes on the Lord allows us to see His hand at work.
