The revelation embedded in the symbolic language of Hebrew reveals that true peace, or Shalom, comes when the authority linked to chaos and confusion is destroyed. This deeper insight reveals that peace is not merely the absence of conflict but the result of overcoming the forces that disrupt stability and balance. It's fascinating that the Jewish people use this word as a greeting. It’s as if they are giving a blessing of peace with every hello and goodbye, a peace that eradicates chaos and confusion. This practice has become ingrained in their daily lives.
We who carry the Prince of Peace must recognize that we are bearers of this transformative peace, and we have the ability to bring it with us everywhere, every day. What we carry is so much more than a word of greeting. It's the resurrection power of Jesus that lives within each of us who are called by His Name. We carry the power to dispel chaos, to bring about the absence of conflict, and to embody the fullness of God.

Apostolic Prayer
"The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all."
2 Corinthians 13:14
Prayer Points
God has graciously entrusted us with four distinct spheres of influence—areas in our lives where we have the responsibility to take action and intercede through prayer. These spheres represent the "hands-on" aspects of our daily walk, the places where God has called us to be faithful stewards. As we prove ourselves trustworthy in these seemingly small things, God, in His goodness, opens doors for greater influence and opportunities.
This week, our focus is on releasing Shalom—the peace and wholeness of God—over our spheres of influence, as well as praying specifically for our Canadian government. Let’s stand firm against any authority or power that aligns itself with chaos, confusion, or disorder. Instead, we will declare the peace, presence, and blessings of God over each of these areas.
Pray that the Prince of Peace would bring His order and wholeness over our government leaders as they work in committees and in the House of Commons. Pray that He would break the power of chaos and disorder and give them the clarity to see truth and do justice.
"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."
James 1:5
Pray for unity in the church and that we would be knitted together in love and purpose. Pray that where there is division, hurt hearts and confusion, His Shalom would bring forgiveness, healing and a clarity of His Word.
"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies."
Psalm 103:4
Pray that we would be instruments of peace in our neighborhoods with eyes to see those in need and hearts willing to serve. Pray that His Presence will rest over our schools, workplaces and public places creating an atmosphere of safety, joy, and prosperity.
"The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound."
Isaiah 61:1
Pray Shalom over every aspect of our families—health, finances, communication, and relationships. Pray that our homes would be places of refuge, where kindness, patience, and grace overflow.
"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."
Psalm 91:1
