The recent New Brunswick election results may be disheartening for some, but we must keep in mind that our impact on righteousness is both long-term and rooted in grassroots efforts. Even if the outcomes aren't what we hoped for, we should not allow discouragement to deter our prayers, as it is a tactic of the enemy to hinder our progress. The well-being of our communities and nation doesn’t hinge solely on elections; rather, we must trust in God’s sovereignty and control over all circumstances. Our prayers should center on His power and divine plan, as anything else can be hollow and deceptive. This situation calls for a steadfast commitment to Christ's teachings, urging us to resist the pull of cultural pressures and human traditions. We are reminded to stay anchored in the truth that Christ is Lord and holds ultimate authority over all things.
"See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ."

Prayer Points
Will we have an early election?
Speculation around Prime Minister Trudeau’s future includes possible resignation, a forced non-confidence vote, or proroguing Parliament. With election talk increasing, over 186 ridings remain without confirmed candidates as parties finalize nominations.
Pray that the church embraces God’s heart in interceding for government leaders. Pray that we would earnestly seek His presence to understand the prayers He desires us to lift up and be guided in our involvement in areas where He calls us to act.
Pray for emerging righteous leaders that they may clearly communicate the vision God has given them for Canada. Pray for their messages to resonate with clarity and relatability, inspiring others to understand and engage with their vision for positive change.
Pray for these new leaders that they would have courage to face challenges and the humility to listen to the needs of those they represent.
Pray that they would be empowered to make decisions rooted in justice and love.
“To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.”

Provincial Elections
Continue to pray for New Brunswick as it undergoes a change in government. Pray for Premier-elect Holt, asking that she may discern truth, justice, and righteousness in her leadership. Pray that this new Liberal party operates from a genuine love for the people of New Brunswick, rather than adhering to a woke narrative.
Continue to pray for British Columbia as they count ballots. Pray for integrity and accuracy in the results, as every vote is crucial with such close margins (11 ridings are too close to call - thus the recount).
Pray for Saskatchewan as they will be going to the polls on October 28th. Pray that the church would recognize the significance of their vote, not as mere citizens of this world, but as ambassadors of His kingdom.
“Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.”
