We should seek God's presence daily in our devotions, taking time to slow down and truly wait on Him rather than rushing through our readings and prayers. As followers of Christ, we are called to be spiritual leaders in our neighborhoods and workplaces. You are the Pastor of the street where you live or the place where you work. When we devote ourselves to the Word and to prayer, we open ourselves to hear God's guidance and strategies for expanding His Kingdom. These strategies flow from the time we spend in His presence. Without intentionally drawing close to Him, we miss the opportunity to hear His voice. It is essential that we prioritize being filled by Him.
"One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple."
Psalm 27:4

Prayer Points
Foreign Interference Commission
Foreign interference involves deceptive actions by foreign states to harm Canada. A CSIS report warns China sees Canada as a key target due to its role in the Five Eyes intelligence-sharing alliance. Trudeau called an inquiry in 2023 which is now in its second phase.
Pray for wisdom and discernment for Justice Marie-Josée Hogue and her team as they sift through the testimony in search of the truth.
Pray for Canada’s protection. Pray that CSIS may discern deceit and harmful intentions against us swiftly, identifying threats before the enemy can inflict any harm.
Pray for those in government that they would be wise in interactions and the complexities of foreign relationships. Pray that they would stand firm in integrity guarding their hearts from those who may seek to lead them astray.
Pray that resolving this issue does not become a partisan battle. Pray for cooperation from both sides to ensure the safety of all Canadians.

Provincial Elections
Pray for wisdom for voters and safe and fair elections.
Pray for significant turnout of voters.
Pray for those candidates who are boldly standing for righteousness. Pray strength and unity on their families during this stressful time.
Pray that the church would recognize the significance of their vote, not as mere citizens of this world, but as ambassadors of His kingdom.
