Today is Remembrance Day a day that we set aside to honour and remember the men and women who bravely served our country to protect us from tyranny and evil. We owe the freedom we enjoy as Canadians to these courageous men and women who fought so valiantly. Let us all bow our heads and hearts today in prayer, for peace in our world and to give thanks for the many who laid down their lives for us. If you are able, please attend your local Cenotaph Remembrance Day observance today. We will remember them!

Apostolic Prayer of the Week
“And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy; giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.”
Colossians 1:9-12
Pray for this life transforming knowledge so that we may bear fruit and bring Him Glory. The work of the Holy Spirit in our lives makes us people of the light. The more we know Him, the more we want to be like Him. We will then walk in a manner worthy of the Lord and fully please him.
