Happy Canada Day
Have a Happy Canada Day! As Chris mentions in the video, the House of Commons is now adjourned for the summer. Members of Parliament will now be busy working in their constituencies. Now would be a great time to connect with them at one of your neighbourhood events or simply make an appointment to talk with them. Be sure to let them know you are praying for them.

Apostolic Prayer
"praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak."

Prayer Points
As it is Canada Day on Monday, we will focus our prayers on Canada.
Pray for all levels of government. Pray that they would have wisdom and understanding. Pray that our leaders would be men and women of integrity. Pray that their walk would be blameless and righteous. Pray that truth would come from their hearts. (Psalm 15)
Pray for the church in Canada that she would remain devoted to God's Word and that this devotion would light a fire of response in prayer. As His Word becomes embedded in our hearts, pray for an alignment to His heart in prayer. Pray that as we receive our marching orders, we would have the courage to obey faithfully. Pray that His Word would run swiftly and be glorified as it flows from our hearts and lips to those around us who don't yet know Him.
Pray for our families, friends, and community members who do not know Him. Though they may wander aimlessly in search of meaning, pray that they discover Jesus as the true source of life. Pray that they would know the truth and the truth would set them free.
"But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?"
