In today's video, Chris discusses legislation that can either be treacherous slopes or uplifting ascents. Legislation such as Medical Assistance in Dying doesn't just pose a slippery slope; it can turn into a full on luge. Conversely, there are laws that can lead our nation toward righteousness. Like a magnetic hill, they can pull up Canadians to make good choices. Let's pray for our Members of Parliament, asking for divine wisdom to introduce such legislation in the House of Commons.

Prayer Points
The House of Commons is adjourned for the summer.
We are thankful to God for the victories we saw in this last session. The expansion of the Medical Assistance in Dying legislation was postponed for 2 more years. The National Parliamentary Prayer Breakfast was the largest in its history. The Presence of God was very tangible at every event with worship breaking out at the Leadership dinner.
Pray that Members of Parliament will encounter constituents that will share the testimonies of the goodness of God in their lives. Pray that we will be salt and light.
Pray for our MP's that they would reflect on what is good, what is pure and what is excellent. Pray that they would have eyes to see what is best for their constituents.
Pray for Members and their families that there would be a multiplication of quality time. Pray for a strengthening of relationships as they are able to spend the entire summer at home. Pray for blessing on their marriages and relationships with their children.
"Send out your light and your truth; let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy hill and to your dwelling!"
