Poilievre has criticized Canada's current military culture, stating that as Prime Minister, he would replace the "woke" culture implemented by the current administration with a focus on fostering a "warrior culture."
As Chris mentioned in the video, this reminds us that, as Christians, we are part of a warrior culture. Prayer is at the heart of this identity. In Ephesians 6, we are called to be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power by putting on the full armor of God. Paul urges us to stand firm in the spiritual battle against the forces of darkness.
We are also instructed to pray all kinds of prayers for all people—offering intercessions, petitions, and thanksgivings—ensuring that our spiritual warfare is rooted in love and aligned with God’s will. Through this steadfast commitment to prayer, we find the strength and courage to boldly proclaim the truth of the Gospel.
We are called to pray for everyone, regardless of whether we like them or not, because our prayers should flow from a heart of love that reflects God’s heart. Our true struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Our warrior culture of prayer breaks off oppression, slays giants, moves mountains, and drives out darkness. Through steadfast and faithful prayer, we align with God's power to bring transformation and victory. Let us persevere in prayer until Canada rises as a true warrior nation, standing strong in faith and purpose.
Remember, every day is the national day of prayer!

"The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor."
