As the National Prayer Breakfast events begin on May 5, MP Richard Bragdon, Chair of the Planning Committee, is inviting Christians across the country to come together in Prayer for the National Prayer Breakfast, and to engage others through various prayer networks. Join us to pray on Parliament Hill as the House of Commons is in session. We will pray for Members of Parliament, Senators, Judiciary, Law enforcement, Canada's Military and church leaders as well as Provincial and Regional Leaders. Essentially we will pray for "all those in authority". Apostolic Prayer
"For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God."

Prayer Points
Rising Global Antisemitism
In Ottawa last Saturday, demonstrators openly advocated for terrorism and violence against Jews. Among the Palestinian flags and banners calling for a ceasefire, chants of "Long live October 7" and "October 7 proves we are almost free" were heard.
Seventy years post-Holocaust, we witness a resurgence of public and violent expressions of antisemitism globally. Classic antisemitic motifs are openly propagated, with slogans like "Jews to the gas" and "Hitler should have finished the job" becoming disturbingly prevalent. This evokes memories of 1939 Germany. Never again really is now!
Pray for the Jewish community that they would know peace.
Pray for the church to be bold ad courageous to stand wit the Jewish community. Pray that "Never again" would hold true in action, not just in words.
Pray for meaningful relationships between Rabbis ad Pastors in our cities.
Pray for our political leaders that they would have moral clarity and not be intimidated by the raging mob mentality. Pray that they would reject the false notion of moral equivalence, which wrongly suggests that terrorist groups like Hamas are on par conscientiously with Jews ad Israel.
Pray for law enforcement and our government leaders that we would remain a nation that conforms to the rule of law.
Parliamentary National Prayer Breakfast
We have just over a week before we are gathering in our nation’s Capital for the largest National Prayer Breakfast in Canada's history!
Pray that many Members of Parliament, Senators and Diplomats would be in attendance, especially those that don't know Jesus as Messiah yet.
Pray that the Word of the Lord from Anu George Canjanathoppi would run swiftly and be glorified and that it would take root in every heart that is in attendance.
Pray this week's Apostolic Prayer for leaders who don't know Him that His love's resting place would become the core of their existence. Pray that they be enabled to grasp the immense breadth of Christ's amazing love and that they would overflow with the richness of God.
Pray for MP Richard Bragdon and MP Damien Kurek and their team that the systems they put in place for these events would operate seamlessly.
“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
