This week’s video highlights an awesome ministry, that prays for and with our men and women in blue. We owe our police a debt of gratitude for their service and sacrifice, in the protection of our society. There is power in a Thank You and of course, there is power in Prayer. Remember these seven words… When you see them, pray for them!

The National House of Prayer is not sponsored by any particular denomination or agency. We rely on the generosity of people like you to enable us to activate strategic prayer for Canada and its leaders. In conjunction with the National Prayer Breakfast on May 6 and 7, NHOP is hosting a night of Worship and Prayer for Canada.
As the National Prayer Breakfast events begin on May 5, MP Richard Bragdon, Chair of the Planning Committee, is inviting Christians across the country to come together in Prayer for the National Prayer Breakfast, and to engage others through various prayer networks. Click on the red button below for prayer strategy.
Join us to pray on Parliament Hill as the House of Commons is in session. We will pray for Members of Parliament, Senators, Judiciary, Law enforcement, Canada's Military and church leaders as well as Provincial and Regional Leaders. Essentially we will pray for "all those in authority". If you are not able to attend in person, you can pray from anywhere in the country using our NHOP virtual Prayer Walk Map by clicking on the red button below.
Apostolic Prayer
"that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come."
Ephesians 1:17-21
Prayer Points
Parliamentary National Prayer Breakfast
Ticket sales have surged to unprecedented levels. As of Wednesday, only 182 seats remained out of the 1400 reserved by the planning committee. This marks a doubling of last year's attendance, the previous record. If you're considering attending, we strongly advise purchasing your tickets promptly.
Pray that many Members of Parliament, Senators and Diplomats would be in attendance, especially those that don't know Jesus as Messiah yet.
Pray that the Word of the Lord from Pastor Claude Houde would run swiftly and be glorified and that it would take root in every heart that is in attendance.
Pray this week's Apostolic Prayer for leaders who don't know Him that the light of God would illuminate their eyes until they receive full revelation of the hope of His calling.
Pray for MP Richard Bragdon and MP Damien Kurek and their team that the systems they put in place for these events would operate seamlessly.
“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
1 Timothy 2:1-4
Israel and Iran
Iran attacked Israel last weekend as predicted. Only 1% of the over 300 weaponized projectiles landed in Israel. Many report that the iron dome, allied forces and misfire of half of the ballistic missiles launched contributed to this. Early Friday, Israel retaliated with a small number of long-range missiles launched from aircraft.
Pray for Israel, that they would recognize God's protection over His land. While some highlight the country's military strength and technological advances in the defence of the weekend's attack, others appreciate alliances with the U.S., the U.K., Jordan and Saudi Arabia. Pray that they would receive revelation that it was God who protected and saved them. Pray that they would come to know and trust in the name of the Lord.
"May he grant you your heart's desire and fulfill all your plans! May we shout for joy over your salvation, and in the name of our God set up our banners! May the Lord fulfill all you petitions! Now I know that the Lord saves his anointed; he will answer him from his holy heaven with the saving might of his right hand. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. They collapse and fall, but we rise and stand upright."
Psalm 20:4-8
We have had conversations with Muslim diplomats about this conflict surrounding their homelands. They are experiencing the pain of the unrest in the Middle East and feel hopeless about it's resolve. Pray for the church in the Middle East that the God of hope would fill them to overflowing with uncontainable joy and peace so they would radiate hope.
Pray that the church would not be weary in well doing.
"And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith."
Galatians 6:9-10
