Coming to you on Election Day morning, the results are still unknown. We recognize that no matter the outcome, some people will be disappointed. Our nation is divided, and in this critical time, we as believers have a clear calling — not to curse, but to bless. James 3 reminds us that fresh and salt water cannot flow from the same source; we are to be a source of blessing. As 2 Corinthians 2:15 says, we are the aroma of Christ, carrying the knowledge of Him everywhere. In this polarized season, we are called all across Canada — in every city and province — releasing the fragrance of Christ, so that the knowledge of the glory of the Lord would cover the nation as the waters cover the sea. By sowing peace, we will reap a harvest of righteousness.

As the Israel Conference draws near, we believe it will have a significant impact on the Canadian church’s support for Israel and the Jewish community. Whether or not you’re attending in Ottawa, we invite you to join us in prayer.

Daily Election Prayer Points

Pray for a spirit of blessing to fill our hearts, regardless of the election outcome.

Pray for God to help us speak words of life and peace over our leaders and our nation whether we voted for them or not.

Pray for healing across political, cultural, and regional divides in Canada.

Pray for God to unite the country with a spirit of understanding, respect, and reconciliation.

Pray that believers across Canada would carry the fragrance of Christ everywhere they go — bringing hope, peace, and love into every sphere of influence.

Pray for the knowledge of the glory of the Lord to cover Canada as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14).

Pray that believers would stand firm in love, truth, and humility, especially in challenging and divided times.

Pray for a harvest of righteousness as we sow peace and release blessings in our communities.

Pray that whoever is elected would be guided by God’s wisdom, whether they acknowledge Him yet or not.

Pray for righteous advisors and wise counsel to surround them.
