As we approach this federal election, we must lift up every party leader and all those who will be elected to Parliament. This is about more than political outcomes—this is about salvation, about eternity.
We cannot lose sight of this. Our prayers must go beyond policy. We are interceding for encounters with the living God—that leaders would not just govern wisely, but that they would come to know Him.
Remember Daniel 2: God gave King Nebuchadnezzar dreams that disturbed him—and then gave Daniel the wisdom and revelation to interpret them. In that moment, God revealed Himself to a king who did not know Him. Verse 22 declares, “He reveals deep and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells with Him.”

Daily Election Prayer Points
Pray for God to reveal Himself personally to each party leader and elected MP.
Pray that in the stillness of the night, they would have dreams or thoughts that lead them to seek truth.
Pray for divine moments where God interrupts their plans with His presence.
Pray that they would be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.
Pray for godly voices and “Daniels” to be placed in their lives to speak truth with love and wisdom.
Pray that the fear of the Lord would fall upon Canada’s leaders—that they would govern with reverence, humility, and accountability before God.
Pray that even ungodly leaders would make godly decisions under the influence of heaven.
Pray that God would stir the Church across Canada to pray fervently and with faith for our leaders.
Pray that we would keep our focus on eternal outcomes, not just political ones.
