As party platforms are released, watch for two key issues. First, a Liberal proposal in the Standing Committee on Finance suggests removing charitable tax status from religious organizations. This undermines religious freedom in Canada. Beyond that, every dollar donated to these organizations generates over $3 in community benefit, easing the strain on government services. It’s important to know where each party stands on this issue and whether they support or oppose this kind of erosion of religious liberty.

Equally important is each party’s stance on Israel. As Genesis 12 declares, those who bless Israel will be blessed. This promise still stands, and how our nation positions itself in relation to Israel carries both practical and spiritual weight. As we approach the election, take time to research where each party stands on both religious freedom and support for Israel. These are not just political issues—they are deeply spiritual ones. Share what you learn, and encourage others to make informed, prayerful decisions.

Thanks to our donors for making a difference!

This is a crucial time for our nation.

For those in the Ottawa area, come pray with us.

Saturday April 12th at 4:30 pm, Peace Tower Church.

If you’re unable to attend the prayer meeting at Peace Tower Church, there’s another one happening in Ottawa’s west end. What matters most is that we take time to pray.

Some have been asking if the above prayer meetings will be live-streamed. While these particular gatherings will not be streamed, we invite you to join us for our NHOP Zoom prayer calls—a great opportunity to connect in prayer online:

🕙 Tuesdays | 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM ET

🌙 Wednesdays | 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM ET

All are welcome!

Daily Election Prayer Points

Pray that Canadians will have wisdom and spiritual discernment as they evaluate party platforms and candidates, especially regarding religious freedom and support for Israel.

Pray for God to protect the charitable status of churches, synagogues, and other religious organizations, so they can continue to serve communities freely and effectively.

Pray that pastors and believers across Canada will become aware of the current political issues and be moved to action through prayer, education, and godly engagement.

Pray that Canada will align with God's heart for Israel and continue to bless and support her in policy and action, in line with Genesis 12:3.

Pray that any hidden agendas in political platforms would be exposed, and that truth would come to light so Canadians can make informed decisions.

“For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open.”

Luke 8:17
