hi everybody it's Chris Byberg the director of the national House of Prayer coming to you from Ottawa well yesterday we were in the House of Commons uh sitting in praying during question period it's always very entertaining very Lively lots of debate it's really quite a great great opportunity to do if you ever get a chance to come to Ottawa and sit in that would be um a really great thing to do but so while I was sitting there and watching you know we were building relationships with many of the MPS and we know there are many Believers there and so I really felt that that uh yesterday I was praying for the Believers in in uh in the house the Believers and their staff

I know Timothy tells us that we pray for all leaders all those in Authority but yesterday I felt that we we needed to press in for those Believers and this is where I was praying for I was praying from uh Ephesians chapter 1 and verse 17. I'm just going to read this and then we're going to pray into it together so Paul says this I keep I keep asking that the god of our Lord Jesus Christ The Glorious father may give you the spirit of wisdom and Revelation so that you may know him better I pray also that the eyes of your heart would be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you isn't that amazing so let me go back to that again so Lord we pray for these

members of parliament and their staffers those that are believers on the hill Lord we pray that you give them a spirit of wisdom and Revelation and Lord that they may know you better yes God that they would know you better I also pray that the eyes of their heart would be opened openly we used to sing this song Open the Eyes of My Heart to see you high and lifted up Lord I pray that they have eyes to see or that they'd be able to see you even over the political clamor that's happening on the hill and on part in in Ottawa Lord I pray that you give them eyes to see you clearly Lord that they would be able to hear your words clearly so I Lord I pray that you would bless these members and

their staffers in Jesus name for in this coming session we're in a new session a new 11 weeks till till they break at Christmas time father we pray that your Holy Spirit would lead and guide these members in Jesus name amen I'm Chris beiberg the director of the national House of Prayer we'll see you next time bye for now
