hi everybody it's chris veiberg the director of the national house of prayer here in ottawa this is our first video after the election and it what a whirlwind that was it was an exciting time for us i was so excited the amount of prayer that was going up across the nation prayer and worship and engagement with the body of christ in this election it was really good but what next what do we do now you know we've had a posture from the very beginning that this wasn't um crisis driven that this ministry wasn't that we were to come from a place i'm servicing our writings in prayer not that we would just rise to the occasion at the election and then dissipate until the next one so i want
to encourage you in this season i'm really happy i was speaking the other day in in niagara falls and i really felt the lord illuminated this word to me from revelation chapter 4. let me read it to you it says after this i looked up and there before me was a door standing open in heaven and a voice i had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said come up here and i will show you what must take place after this and at once i was in the spirit and there before me was the throne in heaven with someone sitting on it i wanted to encourage want to encourage us that in this season that it doesn't matter well it does matter but our pro our our focus needs to remain on the lord
and i want to encourage you to come up here to see it's irrelevant what um what the outcome of the election is god is still god jesus is still king and he reigns but we want to come from a place of come up here where we can see what god is doing what i love later raider later on in this chapter is what does he see what does the revelator see and he sees these two things that are happening he sees the holy holy holy lord god almighty who was it is it is to come and then he also sees he also sees the you are worthy to take the scroll and open the seals because you were slain and with your blood you purchase men for god from every tribe and language and people and nation that is the focus
this is what god sees and we need to see that men that he and women that he has purchased so our focus in this time after the election isn't so much on policy yes they'll be challenging policies that are going to come through there's going to be some challenging legislation that we feel that will be introduced no doubt about it but our focus is come up here yes there will be challenges with but you still maybe or do i get a vaccine or don't i get a vaccine i want to encourage you to come up here i want to encourage you to pray for your writings engage but the main thing is keep your eyes focused on the lord keep your eyes lift him up come from that place of holy as the lord
almighty is his name for he has men and women for god that's our focus in this season not the outcome of the election the election but what god is doing in this moment now i want to encourage you to engage with him in jesus name let's pray father i thank you lord i thank you that you reign lord i thank you that you are the lord of canada father we lift up this season and father i pray that you help the church have eyes for you lord bring us to a place where we will have eyes for you father bring us to a place where where jesus said in the gospel i only do what i see my father doing lord we want to be those people we want to be doing what you are doing lord we ask this over the
body of christ we ask this for canada in jesus name amen thank you everyone we'll see you next time bye for now you
