hi everyone it's chris and marilyn beiberg directors of the national house of prayer and we are in the shauna sullivan chapel in the east block of the parliament buildings this is our first time in this room uh since we've been here in ottawa uh so this is a real answer to prayer that we're able to get in here to pray yeah we've been um we're so grateful leslie lewis's office helped us with this this has been a really quite a long process for us things are opening up and so far to be able to come in here to pray is um is a big step for for us and so we're really excited to be here we're exp we're excited for the new things that god is is opening up for us here on the hill so let's just
pray for a minute father i thank you for this opportunity father we thank you for this this season that we've been able to come into this on the hill in the house of commons lord we thank you for this opportunity in the sullivan chapel or that we can come and and bring our petitions to you to listen and to hear and see what you're doing here on the hill so father we ask that your kingdom come yes let your will be done here on parliament hill lord your word says that you will have dominion from sea to sea and from the rivers to the ends of the earth lord we know that is written in stone on these buildings and lord we're grateful for that and lord we know that um this is the
this is actually the senator's building and the uh the the um house of parliament they actually meet in the west block which is on the other side but lord i pray that the prayers that are prayed in this room by all the different saints that come in here to pray the lord would spill out all through all of these buildings and lord especially right into that house of commons that lord your atmosphere would be there to affect how those men and women think and and that that they would have um wisdom and that they would have love for this country and the decisions that they made would be based on that love for this country not on self-gain not because of fear of man but because of love for
their constituents for their writings and for this nation of canada father i pray for those righteous uh those righteous mps that are in the house lord i pray that what they carry the you that they carry in them would go with them and that and that they that would spill over into those that don't know you yes lord we pray for the righteous righteous staffers that accompany them and are working with other members as well or we just pray that they that they would be like cities on a hill or that they would be salt and light in the offices that they walk in so father we pray that you would bless them today and god we just thank you for what you're doing here thank you
