chris and marilyn byberg here directors of the national house of prayer we're so excited this is our second worship and prayer night and tonight we're praying for the awakening of the church ultimately our prayer is for reformation in canada we want to see the heart of the nation turn to jesus that's ultimately what we want to see and tonight we're starting with with um with the church we're going to pray for the church tonight thank you so much for joining us amen you know we are broadcasting from niagara falls once again a gateway city and we're inside a little place called dwelling place it's a they have an initiative called house of his presence and you know for the past

eight years eight years and six days they have been meeting every day to worship and pray for eight years over eight years and we are so honored to be a part of this is i just wanted to honor pastor dale and rosemary tonight for their faithfulness because faithfulness matters and i want to say to you tonight those of you that have been standing on the wall those of you who've been just wait going before the god before the lord your faithfulness matters to him and i want to say thank you i want to say thank you to the watchmen on the wall who've been doing this for who knows how long i just want to bless you and honor you and thank you this time we're going to invite our founding director

of the national house of prayer to share some words rob take it away okay okay well it's wonderful to be with you with and just to realize realize that there are people joining us from cmc across the nation and so it's a delight posture ourselves to see christ christ in our heart risen in the church god would come and place upon a greater for your light has come and the glory of the lord and his glory so father we pray as we come before you now god we ask for it lead us god we pray touch your heart in jesus name [Music] stand with us [Music] [Music] let praise be a weapon let praise be a weapon that silences the enemy let praise be a weapon that conquers all anxiety let it rise

god we pray for divine visitations [Music] and lord even as special where people become anxious god we pray for your comfort holy spirit lord we pray that your church may know the very comfort of god [Music] but we're looking in the wrong direction god we pray that you will put our eyes upon you that our eyes will be fixed on jesus the author and perfecter of our faith and lord in that place god when we have our eyes possibly fixed upon you god we pray that we will do measurably more [Music] you're knocking on the door of our hearts and we invite you to come in the holy spirit come in where we have been so focused on the wrong things forgive us and now bring us into a right alignment

a right focus where we would not be focused on conspiracies where we'd not be focused on pandemics [Music] and your gospel message in jesus name [Music] my name [Music] is and i'm going to pray out of isaiah 51 and 52 awake away father we ask you to prepare your bride for the coming days we ask you to raise up herald to raise up watch management to sound the call to blow the trumpet a call to the bride of christ to awaken from her stomach awake awakes us the lord clothe yourself in strength zeal of the lord lord come and stir up in the peoples we're up in the hearts of the people that we would renew our first love with you as in the early days breath of god god

come and breathe in the people's life that we would once again hunger and thirst for you and your righteousness hunger and thirst for your life-giving earth hunger and thirst for intimacy with you breath of breath breathe even on the dry bones the time has come to raise up an army and we to raise up champions of the faith raise up warriors for truth and justice awake awake bride of christ comes and meet your bridegroom [Music] that your name would be praised and declared amongst the nations in jesus name amen come wind of the spirit come blow on your brights come awaken your bride again while they're in this time of difficulty god we can be so distracted [Music]

see what's really going on to understand that you are trying to wake us up to what's going on the look around us and say what are you doing god amen and he will answer that prayer i thank you for the forerunners those who are at this time praying like we are who are questioning what you are doing god and understanding that you are there even in a hard time what seemed to be a hard time that god the church will flourish in places where it looks the worst god when we think we have the best um if not the best for us sometimes and so father i thank you for what you're doing all around the world and this is the day of the uh national day of prayer father god we think we are so persecuted

that we have so many problems there's so many ways that we are confused and upset and distracted and angry about what's going on in our lives and around us but father i lift up the believers who are suffering all across this world just as they did in the early days of the church god i pray father that we will wake up that your church will wake up and really truly see that you are at work and help us to join in the day of your power that we will follow you that we will allow you [Music] as we [Music] be exalted be exalted i pray god your blessing right now father for all the different places across canada lord you're not looking for big names but you're looking for hearts you're

looking for those who who are calling on the name of the lord god we thank you the eyes of the lord are looking to and fro to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to you god even at times where we may not sense the full commitment we thank you for your grace we thank you for your voice we thank you god that you're able to take even that little bit and help us at those times lord that you'll do mighty things for your people as we yield ourselves to you we bless you in jesus name [Music] awaken your church [Music] awaken [Music] awaken your church awaken your eyes [Music] the [Music] again [Music] [Applause] [Music] again [Music] fill us with boldness [Music] awaken [Music]

psalm 85 1-7 says you lord showed favor to your land you restored the fortunes of jacob you forgave the iniquity of your people uncovered all their sins you set aside all your wrath and turned from your fierce anger restore us again god our savior and put away your displeasure toward us will you be angry with us forever will you prolong your anger through all generations will you not revive us again that your people may rejoice in you show us your unfailing love and grant us your salvation [Music] father would you restore your church for the dry and thirsty land let your river flow again in fact lord let it gush father i pray that the walls of the church would not be able to contain your

river [Music] that lord life would gush from your bride into our communities may we be conduits lord of your love to our families to our neighbors to our co-workers people we go to school with to everyone we touch [Music] father would you revive us again so that we will again rejoice in you and your salvation would you take us back to that place of our first love lord that place where you were our first thought in the morning and the last thing that we thought of when we went to sleep and lord when we were sleeping you were the sweet of our dreams father would you take us to that place again lordran give us eyes only for you [Music] let us not be distracted by all that's happening around us

is it this is what god's looking for he's awakening the church to be a resting place and i want to declare that from sea to sea from coast to coast god wants us to be a resting place he is calling for the church to rise up to be a resting place he's calling us to be tabernacle of david's traveling everywhere we go how do i know because the word prophesies it isaiah said in isaiah 66 heaven is my throne and the earth is my footstool they sang about it tonight where's the house you will build for me where will my resting place be will you say it's me will you say tonight it will be me i will be a resting place for the holy spirit i will be a resting place for the

presence of the almighty god i will be a dwelling place where he dwells he can build in me i will allow him to build i build in him would you declare that from sea to sea right now god i believe is raising up right now tabernacles of worship tabernacles across this land that will worship that will intercede that will have the harp and the bowl and they will worship and they will call upon god [Music] where will my resting place be i believe tonight he would need us to say choose me choose me choose my house choose my home choose my marriage choose my family choose my church has not my hand made all these things so it came into being declares the lord these are the ones i look on with favor

those who are humble and contrite in spirit and who tremble at my word would you just right now say lord we invite you to come [Music] just do it right now across this line say lord we invite your presence right now into our city right now into our region right now across this country we we engage right now would you begin to say god we invite you we welcome you to come we are your resting place right now say lord i have authority i own property in my region and i invite you to come right now i invite you to invade my city be a ref find me as a resting place find all those around me as your resting place in my city i claim it for you lord we don't want you to have to look

around see no one who will say yes choose me we don't want you to walk to churches and look in churches where they say we're too busy for you so across this land we say awaken the cry of the church to say we will be a resting place for you maybe you even say god i want my city to be a resting place right now and as one in my city i say lord make my city a resting place of your presence make my region and so father we just say tonight we don't just worship and watch we watch worship and engage and right now we say we will be a resting place for you to come we will be a resting place we say that right now would you join me come on we need us across the whole country right

now wherever you are say we will be a resting place for our god awaken the church of that desire awaken us tonight to that desire you will raise up young men and young women you will raise up ages of of all generations you awaken them to the need to be a resting place of the almighty presence of god you will be a resting place we welcome that i believe this could be a powerful engagement today that tonight we just say heaven it's my throne that's what he said in earth it's all of it it's you're looking for a house will be the house dwell on us dwell on us lord tonight come on we just say it right now he needs us to respond lord yes just say yes for the death of your spirit say yes say yes

over our brothers and sisters that are being hunted down and murdered in some places who are restrained and restricted and can't even say the name of jesus without reprisal i just want to read this and pray this over them lord you are our shepherd and we lack nothing lord you make us lie down in great pastures and you lead us beside still waters lord you are the restorer of our souls i thank you god that you guide us in paths of righteousness for your name's sake [Music] and even though i walk through the valley of the shadow of death lord i pray that we would not be fearful because we know that you are with us that god is with us [Music] and lord you prepare and your rod

and your staff lord they are a comfort to us lord i pray that for the persecuted church throughout the world lord that you would be a greater comfort to them even more lord i pray that you would give them even more courage [Music] lord i thank you for their boldness and lord i pray that the church in canada would have their boldness [Music] why don't you prepare for us a table in the presence of our ne our enemies and you anoint our heads with over oil and our cup overflows and we declare goodness love and mercy will follow me all the days of my life and lord [Music] we want to be your house yes yes we want to be your house lord we want to be your dwelling place yes and so we pray lord

that you will come and you will rest on us and we lord we say yes yes we say yes god to your plans for your purposes for canada amen and again lord we declare that you have dominion from sea to sea and from the rivers to the ends of the earth and we declare again that lord jesus you reign and you are the king of kings and the lord of lords and we bless your name for you are good and your mercy endures forever thank you everyone for joining us we're going to have one more song as we go out i want to thank say thank you to the worship team brad and melissa daniel sean maddy and of course my good friend gary we are so blessed to have them thank you lord and thank you for joining us this evening

lord we ask tonight that your church would have undivided hearts towards jesus we thank you the the greatest command you will love the lord your god with all your heart soul mind and strength but i believe there's a a prophetic edge to that when he said that that you shall love the lord your god with all your heart with all your soul with all your mind your strength holy spirit enable us to love him as he is worthy of enable us to love with all our hearts our souls our minds and our strength let our hearts be undivided towards you that we could be your resting place that your presence would be even more manifest in canada through your people [Music] god we love you amen [Music]
