"For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end,"
Isaiah 9:6, 7
Jesus, who is fully God put on flesh and came as a helpless, fragile baby. God said, through Isaiah that He was destined to be King and the government will be on His shoulder.
We see in the world today this shift away from the things of God. Psalm 2 says, "Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, 'Let us break their bonds in pieces and cast away their cords from us.'" God's response is that He has chosen His King and set Him in place and nothing will be able to overthrow Him.
In Philipians 2, Paul talks about Jesus, who humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. And therefore, God exalted Him. He said that at the Name of Jesus, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that He is Lord. This is our unstoppable King.

Pray for Awakening in the Church
This video is an excerpt from our Worship and Prayer night held on November 7th.
We pray Lord that you would restore your church. Revive us so that we will again rejoice in You.
“You, Lord, showed favor to your land; you restored the fortunes of Jacob.
You forgave the iniquity of your people and covered all their sins.”
You set aside all your wrath and turned from your fierce anger.
Restore us again, God our Savior, and put away your displeasure toward us.
Will you be angry with us forever? Will you prolong your anger through all generations? Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?
Show us your unfailing love, Lord, and grant us your salvation.”
Psalm 85:1-7
