hi everybody it's chris byberg the director of the national house of prayer from ottawa well we just came through a fantastic easter weekend we were very very busy in our household and we were so grateful to be able to participate in easter celebrations in person for the first time in you know in over two years so here we are uh celebrating it was absolutely wonderful at my local church one of the things i want to share about uh with you today is something that happened here in ottawa on good friday it was a youth initiative that has been going on since 2006 called no other name and we were at a youth event with over 600 youth in attendance from 35 different churches across our city isn't
that fantastic 35 different churches worshiping and praising and listening to the words and of course having lots of fun because they're youth and they can do that best they had lots of fun and we were a part of that uh interceding and praying for the event while it was going on so it was awesome for us to be there i'm a youth pastor a former youth pastor i think i'm i'm once you're a youth pastor always a youth pastor and so to be there was so exciting but i just want to direct us to what i was seeing there and it comes from the prayer from jesus out of june out of john 17. let me read this to you father just as you are in me and i am in you may they also be in us
so that the world may believe that you have sent me another version says father make us one i make them one as you and i are one and it so was so good to see the body of christ moving in unison here in ottawa with the youth 35 churches you know what years ago that was unheard of in many places i know as a former director of march for jesus the struggles of getting the body together back this is 30 years ago so it is awesome to see what god is doing across the nation because this wasn't the only thing that was happening in the nation there were other cities that were doing this but i just want to encourage you that we would pray this prayer father make us one as you and i make
them one rather as you and i are one to have the body of christ move in unity move as one as the end time church as the end time church gets ready for this billion soul harvest it's not going to happen in silos it's not going to happen as individuals but it'll happen as we work together so let's pray father i thank you for what you're doing across the land what you're doing in our land and lord we're using this as an example as ottawa the nation's capital lord as you are as these four runners and youth are pulling together working together collaborating together to bring your kingdom for bringing your kingdom to ottawa so father i pray that this would catch fire across the nation
lord that we would work together that pastors and leaders would work in harmony lord i pray that we would lay down our agendas and we laid will lay down our our our fears so that we could work together so father give us eyes to see and ears to hear to see what you're doing in each of our congregations in our cities and in our regions in jesus name amen well thank you everybody i'm chris fybrick the director of the national house of prayer and we'll see you next time bye for now you
