hi everybody it's chris byberg the director of the national house of prayer broadcasting from ottawa well if you've been tracking with us and following the media you realize that um a lot of things happened over this weekend last friday the premier of ontario called for a state of emergency which enacted a bunch of things and yesterday monday the prime minister um also enacted the emergencies act as well so so what does that mean and how does that change our posture now whether you're you're for for this or against this or indifferent it doesn't matter we're still called to pray rob brought something up in in a perm in a prayer meeting we had this morning on our zoom call our regular tuesday

morning prayer meeting and he brought this uh scripture forward i just love the posture of it so let me read from joshua chapter 5 verse 13. now when joshua was near jericho he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in his hand janta joshua went up to him and asked are you for us or for our enemies neither he replied but as commander of the army o lord i have come now then joshua fell down on the ground in reverence and asked him what message does my lord have for his servant so who are we for we're for neither that's who we're for we're for neither but our call is to have ears to hear what the lord is speaking in this time and what is the message that god wants

us to pray from so i want to just commend you everyone that we've been praying for peace we've been praying for a resolve again let me just tell you the testimonies we've been down marilyn and i on on a regular basis basis to go down and pray for the for whom whosoever will the lord has been illuminating certain things to us and certain people and actually many times people come walking right up to us so let me tell you a little story about dan dan is uh in the convoy but he's not in a truck he was in a a small forward escape and he was parked on wellington street in front of the in front of the supreme court so um we had approached him and started talking to him and had a really

wonderful conversation with him and now dan is he doesn't appear to be a christian um you know we kind of know what christians look like and sound like and he doesn't sound like one of those guys or look like one of those guys for that much um and so he started to to share some things he started to share about the peace and joy which we've been sharing about he's been he he actually shared that um you know he's left his truck unlocked on numerous occasions and come back nothing is stolen nothing is taken so that's the whole thing about peace shalom nothing broken nothing taken but but he actually shared with me that he really felt and he said this that he

felt the presence of god he said he says it's biblical that's what he says he said this is a this is biblical he says you walk around there's so much peace and joy it's like god is here so that's really interesting so we asked to pray for dan and he was he was readily accepted and so we started to pray and then i started to pray um this verse out of adam john you will know the truth and the truth will set you free and as soon as i prayed that i don't know he was seated inside his car but he jolted blending and he said to me what was that and he said oh my gosh and i so i said well those were the words of jesus those were the words of jesus that you're encountering and he says oh my gosh what

a message he says that's hit me like a ton of bricks and so ah i will know the truth and the truth will set me free that word truth actually translate to reality and so he started to experience the reality of jesus right then and we continued to pray and share with him it was just one of the stories from saturday it's just amazing what's going on there yes there's lots of things in tumultuous time like even today the the police chief slowly had um resigned and you know to tell i want to just honor him and thank him and i'll tell you the media might might be saying there's not a lot of police out there there's a lot of police down there and they're very peaceful and they've been i we've

seen things play out in media in the past where where the police got out of hand and these gentlemen and women have been gentlemen and ladies they've been wonderful to interact with and to walk with and it is awesome and they can sense the peace that's there so i'm grateful for this so continue to pray for our police continue to pray for our mayor continue to pray for the government all right i'm i want to read something from psalm chapter 2 before we leave something here that uh resonated with us in prayer this morning on our tuesday morning zoom call again in here listen to this psalm 2 uh verse 1. why do nations rage and the people plot in vain the kings of the earth take their stand

and the rulers gather towards against the lord and against the anointed one let us break their chains they say and throw off their fetters now isn't that odd how all of a sudden these real these rulers have conspired against the lord and the anointed one and all of a sudden they have a posture for freedom did you notice that let us break their chains and break off their fetters and this is this is what's so good and so the lord says the one enthroned in heaven laughs and so don't get caught up in the angst of this situation yes there's some serious things at play we do we we see that yes there are some people in ottawa that are not happy that are here there's a lot of people in

ottawa that aren't happy this is happening but nevertheless god is doing something on that hill for many many years for decades now we've been praying and interceding and they've been filling up those bowls those prayers of the saints have been filling out those bowls and i believe those bowls are about to tip into ottawa and onto the nation and as the nations are watching us and this peace and joy righteousness peace and joy that's being pulled out poured out continue to pray for this continue to pray for ottawa continue to pray for our leaders it's not about what sides we're on we're on neither side we're on the lord's side and we want to pray his plans and his purposes into this season

revelation talk chapter 4 says come up here and i will show you and that's the posture we need to be praying from here come up here come up here because we are seated in heavenly places with christ we can come up here and pray for my third heaven perspective as the way that god sees the situation thank you everyone for who's been joining with us for these going into 21 days soon thank you for this if your posture thank you for holding up the nation thank you for being on the wall and being obedient servants thank you let's pray father i thank you for your goodness your tender mercies to this nation lord i thank you for canada and lord i thank you for your plans and purposes that are

yes and amen in christ jesus so father i pray that you would give us eyes to see and ears to hear what the spirit is saying to canada and lord that we would echo back to you those things that you want us to pray so father we come into alignment with your purposes we come in alignment with your will and we say let your kingdom come and let your will be done here in canada as it is in heaven in jesus name amen blessings everyone my name is chris blyberg the director of the national house of prayer from ottawa we'll see you next time bye for now you
