hi I'm Sharon Wilson from the Wallaceburg House of Prayer I know election time can be very stressful for many we all know that elections can cause arguments and contentions along with uncertainties but this is a time to remember that prayer is the answer uh trust God trust in his Sovereign plan for our nation Proverbs 35-6 encourages us to trust in the Lord with all of our heart lean not on our own understanding so that through prayer I can seek God's guidance on voting I've already made my mind up about how I will vote because of my core values and my beliefs I do get concerned about who's going to run our country however God's word reminds me of what and who it is that I'm
trusting in do I trust God is he in control of the outcome is he Sovereign that he promis to provide for my needs I need to lean on God's wisdom not on mine and not on the wisdom of men politicians always make promises but I can only trust the promises that God has given me and some days I believe I know his ways and then he surprises me and I've said said several times Lord what was that about or God what are you up to so I will pray for a spirit of understanding regarding this election as it unfolds Isaiah 558 to11 says for my thoughts are not your thoughts neither are your ways my ways declares the Lord as the heavens are higher than the earth so are my ways
so I pray God give me peace give me wisdom and I know God's Sovereign I do believe that I believe God has never lost control he still sits on his throne and he's still god of the universe and that I'm seated with him in Heavenly places Romans 131 says there is no Authority except that which God has established the authorities that exist have been established by God and all authority comes from God for the national House of Prayer I'm Sharon Wilson [Music]
