Chris and Marilyn Byberg, Executive Directors

Our Story
Chris and Marilyn responded to the call of God in their lives back in the early 1980’s. They felt that God was leading them to a Tabernacle of David experience through Prayer, Worship and Prophetic Ministries. Since that time, they have been Youth Pastors, Worship Leaders and Associate Pastors. They have worked as Directors for March for Jesus and facilitated many regional Worship and Prayer events including Harp and Bowl and Healing Rooms. The focus of their lives have always been prayer and the Presence of God.
Chris and Marilyn have a heart to reach the lost. In activating strategic prayer for Canada, the advancement of His Kingdom is always the center. You will often hear them say, “You are the Pastor of your street.”
With Isaiah 61 as a life chapter, their core prayer for the government is to see “Oaks of Righteousness, the planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor” rise up on both sides of the aisle in the House of Commons.
While serving on various Electoral District Associations (EDAs), they began to see the need for prayer support for each riding. Whatever party is represented by each constituency, it is essential that Christians are praying. Chris and Marilyn would like to see a prayer group established to pray for every administrative jurisdiction in the nation. This group would not only pray for the different Governmental leadership in that riding, they would also target prayer for salvation to break out in that community. God can certainly change the inclination of government leaders, but Chris and Marilyn have no doubt that as the heart of the nation changes to embrace God’s love and righteousness, the government will follow suit.
Valuing time spent with their children and grandchildren, Chris and Marilyn enjoy when everyone is able to come together at their table for family celebrations or just for the benefit of being together. They have ministered in various parts of the Province of Ontario and are now residing in Ottawa.
